In 2012 , the municipality of Bystřice established its first educational trail. The Loučka Trail originally focused on the history of the Paseky settlement , as well as the local flora and fauna. The trail has since been partially renovated, with old, faded information boards replaced by new interactive panels . These panels highlight the natural features of the forest and surrounding environment and are thematically designed for children.
Chapel Below the Summit of Loučka – A Place of Peace, Views, and Spiritual Reflection
In one of the most beautiful spots in Bystřice, just below the summit of Loučka, stands a new chapel. Its creation was made possible thanks to the kindness of the landowner, Mr. Petr Lišťvan, the support of the Bystřice Municipal Technical Services staff, and, above all, the skill and dedication of several local craftsmen. The stone base of the chapel was built by Mr. Bogdan Kluz, the wooden structure by Michal Nemec, and the metal elements by blacksmith Jakub Navrátil. Together, their work created a place that harmoniously combines craftsmanship, aesthetics, and spiritual significance.
The chapel was solemnly consecrated on December 2, 2023, and since then has served not only as a space for quiet reflection and contemplation, but also as a popular resting and viewing spot, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
At the same time, the chapel serves as a symbolic reminder of the 600th anniversary of the first written mention of Bystřice
